Manifestation of the olive trees growers, town of Split

Alliance of olive trees growers and olive oil producers,numerous organizers and sponsors have organized the international manifestation of the Mediterranean olive trees growers by the name of «Olive tree Split». This meeting is taking place every year in the February, in the hotel Zagreb, Duilovo, in the vicinity of the town of Split. Every time, the protectors are the President of the Republic of Croatia,goverment and the ministry of the agriculture. It is organizing in the period, when the proccesing of olives is over and its oil is ready for the judgement and quality analysis. At this gathering, there were about 800 participants from dozen countries and 1018 olive oil samples. Under the manifestation, the samples for testing and the quality confirmation have been taken place.In the same time, the meals prepared with the olive oil were testing too. In the same time, in the hall, the latest equipment and means for the olive trees growing and the olive oil production was presented, with the numerous lectures and free distribution of the scientific magazines.

At the end of the meeting,in different categories, the winners and champions have been awarded with the : Diplomas,medals,acknoledgements for the olive oils quality. This manifestation has become traditional, so every year the number of the countries,participants and sent olive oils samples are increasing.
