Free rocks climbing

The free steep rocks climbing is one service more within the tourist offer, which is spreading among the climbers,curious tourists, who are keen about the adventure,staying in the nature,challenge and the beautiful sight when they climb the rock top. The initiator of all sports and touristic activities, semicalled- free climbing- is the sports club «Marulianus» established on the March 19th 1992. Since, there are many steep rocks on land and over the sea, many possibilities for the competitions,pleasures and the trips organization are exposing. The famous rocks for the sports climbing are: The southern side of the Marjan hill, Markeza beam, Trogir-Sveti vid, the rocks near the town of Omis, Rupotine, Brela, Zadvarje, mountain Biokovo, Krvavice, the rocks on the island of Hvar, Konavle, Boban beam. The sports landing to the sea are: Sustipan, island of Vis, Ciovo, Katalinica hill. The sports Boulders climbing are: Lovrinac and arround the town of Trogir.

The free climbers from the Dalmatia are well known during the world rocks free climbing. Because of the beautiful nature in Dalmatia, the number of the free rocks climbers is increasing
