Visit to the Radman's mill, town of Omis

The famous restaurant Radman's mill is located on the river bank widening, in the river Cetina canyon, surrounded by the vegetation and the buildings complex. The former mill has been used for the cereals grinding for the inhabitants of the town of Omis and the part of Cetina province. The first building was built in the ancient year 1722. It is supposed, that it was the country house of some aristocrat or rich man from the town of Omis, who wanted to enjoy in the nature,silence and refreshment during the hot summer days.

In the same time, this building had the water channels and wheel which was turning the mill stones and grind the cereals, grown in the Cetina province. The mill and the house is named after sir Nikola Radman, who has bought that object, and with his sons reconstructed, widened and modernized it. After the mill has been put into the operation, it has assisted a lot, to then people in the fast and qualitative cereals grinding from this area. Today, in these objects and on the arranged surrounding space,there is a large restaurant with the trouts pond and numerous accompaning objects and contents. The Radman's Mill revives in the tourist season and is reachable by the boats,buses and cars. The tourists especially enjoy in the voyage by the boats, from the boarding place near the river mouth bridge, to the quay near the Radman's mill. It is interesting to see many tourists and guests enjoying the Cetina province specialties and food, sitting in the big trees shadow and looking at the folk group from the town of Dugi Rat.

The tourists can not help wondering of such a beautiful place near the river,sea and coast. The most pleasant moment for them is, when they travel in the boats on the river Cetina and look at the trees,reeds and the crystal blue river.
