National park Risnjak Croatia is situated in north western part of Croatia near river Kupa spring, at only 15 km airline from coast and 30 km north of town Delnice. As national partk it has been proclaimed in year 1953. and it covers surface of 63 km2. National park Risnjak Croatia has got it name after mountain Risnjak in which Lynx has lived once. For vicinity of seaside, highway Rijeka – Zagreb and its beauty about 20.000 tourists a year are visiting it. National Park Risnjak Croatia is rich in numerous biological species of flora and fauna, various karst landforms and beautiful nature. Management of National Park Risnjak Croatia is located in town Crni Lug, 14 km west of town Delnice.
