It had a city-state type of organization - so-called Pollis which had its money, flag, coat of arms, seal costume service, army and even diplomacy. History Of Island Vis is recording the strong urbanization of the city which is characteristic for that period. Unfortunately, due to devastation throughout the years, the remnants of those buildings can't be found.
