Hotel in Maslinica
Maslinica is small modern settlement in NW side of Solta island, which has got its name after numerous olive trees on surrounding fields. In 18th century, because of frequent attacks from sea, brothers Martinis-Marchi, arictocrats from the town of Split, have built the castle-fortress in protected cove in NW side of island. Castle-fortress is over 300 years old, and has transformed from country house into interesting hotel with 4 stars. In year 2010, Solta island has realized 100.000 nights. Vicinity of sea and beautiful nature, are reasons why tourists are coming here.
