Town Vrlika

Town Vrlika is famous after Rural Tourism and beautiful nature by Peruca lake. Vrlika is situated at important route from Sinj province and Dalmatia to north. Town Vrlika is located at north-western part of Peruca Lake and it is 68 km far of town Split. Peruca is artifical lake, 18 km long, average wide about 0,8 km, deep about 65 m and it has surface of 15 km2. Town Vrlika had long history because Illyrian tribes have lived here, then Romans, Croatian tribes from 7 th century, and later French and Austrians. Today Vrlika is modern town which progress is based on trade, traffic, agriculture and rural tourism. For its beauty, vicinity of Peruca Lake and River Cetina many guests and tourist are coming here.
