Brac Principality

In the history of town Nerezisce, during the period of 11-19th century, it was even island capital city of the Brac Principality. The prince has ruled on the ground of Statut, together with landlords and the local inhabitants. They had all the features of the Principality: Coat of arms, flag, mint, fishing fleet, authority and police. After the Frenchmen arrival in the year 1805, the principality has been canceled and got the status of the commen town.
